QUESTIONS?
We have answers!
-
No, turning orange Is due to solutions that use an orange base or an ingredient called Betacaratine. It can also occur due to using bronzers that are to dark for your skin type. Rest assured; my goal is to achieve your desired result with no orange undertones.
-
No, it’s important to protect your skin & your tan while outdoors. Always use a spray tan-safe sunscreen. Sunscreen should be oil-free and fragrance-free. Always use a sunscreen lotion, not an aerosol. Water-resistant sunscreen can repel water from the skin, also helping to protect your skin. See my Amazon storefront for recommendations.
-
To protect and extend the life of your spray tan, choose products that are sulfate-free, targeted for sensitive skin, and are unscented. See my Amazon storefront for recommendations.
-
Avoid exfoliating scrubs in tubes/jars which usually contain oils that coat the skin creating a barrier to the tan. See my recommended exfoliating mitt on my Amazon storefront.
-
An exfoliating mitt is key. (See my recommended exfoliating mitt on my Amazon storefront. )
Ask me about retail products!
Apply baby oil all over for 15 minutes, soak in a warm bath with baking soda for at least 15 minutes & use an exfoliation mitt.
Go into a jacuzzi or sauna to open the pores, then exfoliate.
For small areas, mix together baking soda, water & fresh lemon in a bowl until it becomes a paste then apply in circular motions.

It’s generally safe to spray tan while pregnant. It’s recommended to cover all entry points; therefore, I offer nose plugs and disposable panties. I also typically use products with minimal ingredients. Always consult your doctor.
-
Yes! I recommend wearing nipple covers (I supply), a strapless bra, or a bathing suit to protect the nipple. Also, I recommend tanning at night, right before the baby gets their longest stretch of sleep.
-
First off, congratulations! Second off, absolutely! Especially if you’ve never had a spray tan before and are unsure what to expect.
I recommend booking your spray tan trial 2 days before your hair and makeup trial. Doing this will help complete your overall look and will help your makeup artist identify the perfect foundation match before the wedding leading to less stress before the wedding, and we all need that!
Your trial needs to be booked at least 2 weeks before the wedding to provide plenty of time for the tan to completely fade before your wedding tan.

As long as the following things are true, the answer is NO:
1. You got sprayed 2 days before your wedding date
2. You rinsed 2 times before the wedding date using a sulfate-free shower wash.
Note: Pay special attention to the underarms to ensure there is no remaining bronzer that could transfer onto the gown.
OR ask me about my clear solution option which doesn’t contain any bronzer ensuring there will be no color transfer.

When organizing beauty routines the preferred order is:
1 week before your appointment:
Facials or derma-plaining
24-48 hours before your appointment:
Waxing, Manicures, Pedicures, and lash extensions should be done at least 24-48 hours before your spray tan appointment.
Waxing removes skin along with the hair. If done after, it will remove your tan, leaving white patchy looking spots….Not the look we are trying to achieve.
If you’re a bride and are planning to get your eyebrows waxed the week of the wedding, please be careful and know who you are going to or do it the week before. Over the years, I have seen many burns and torn-off skin in the delicate eye area from the wax being too hot.
Manicures and pedicures involve chemicals including acetone, nail drying agents, exfoliators, lotions, and oils which are all damaging to your tan.
If you are a bride or are about to get engaged & want to show off your new ring, we want your hands to look perfect.
Your spray tan is last on the list. Once your spray tan is applied, no additional beauty services should occur.
